Collaborative Model
Clinical supervision is conducted in a spirit of collaboration that is open, mutually respectful, and flexible. Supervisees are empowered as scientist-practitioners to embrace, assimilate and integrate diverse clinical epistemologies and applications through their on-going development of mindfulness and metacognition.Core Competencies
The collaborative supervisory relationship begins by establishing a clear assessment of the core competencies a supervisee must learn to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for effective clinical practice.Responsibility
A strong emphasis is placed on developing professionals who can act autonomously, engage in effective collaboration, demonstrate global socially responsibility and multicultural awareness and practice consistent with the highest ethical standards.ICS offers several ways professionals can obtain supervision:
- Teleconference (Skype, FaceTime, Telephone)
- Recommended for long distance domestic and international professionals
- Individual and small group supervision
- Individual supervision is typically conducted between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the superviseeʼs learning objectives and need.
- The time allotted for group supervision varies according to the groups objectives
- All fees are discussed and mutually agreed upon prior to the first supervisory meeting
